Internal Sign Option

The internal sign option:

• Can utilize a variety of signs;
• Is easily programmed;
• Can emphasize audio stop announcements or display other relevant information;
• Can welcome your passengers and provide them with the current time and date;
• Is constructed of rugged materials.

Can utilize a variety of signs. Digital Recorders, Inc. can provide several types, sizes, and colors of LED signs. In addition, we will work with transit personnel and sign vendors to support internal signs which may already exist on the vehicle.

Is easily programmed. The internal display sign is programmable via the Central Recording Station (CRS). Messages can be shown scrolling or by any of 3 single-frame modes with automatic centering. Scrolling speed and fixed message display time are also easily programmed.

Can emphasize audio stop announcements or display other relevant information. Signs can be programmed to display with or without simultaneous audio announcements. Display information can be relative to a particular stop, or can be programmed to be shown at certain times or days of the week.

Can welcome your passengers and provide them with the current time and date. Between stops the internal sign can periodically scroll a welcoming message to your passengers, as well as display the current time and/or date. This feature can be disabled if desired.

Is constructed of rugged materials. The internal display sign is built to withstand the harsh environmental conditions found in transit applications. There are no scheduled maintenance requirements.
